On AntipsychiatryThis is an idea formed from the belief that the current psychiatric system is inherently abusive and must be replaced with one that is respectful of the autonomy of all involved. You have a right to seek whatever treatments you want, set whatever recovery goals you please, seek a diagnosis or define yourself how you want. Just as well, you have a right to do none of these things and live as you are with the same kindness and respect as anyone else. I am also antirecovery in the sense that the "recovery" the psychiatric system pushes for involves the forceful removal of people's autonomy in order to fit into the "normalcy" they deem acceptable. It does not matter how severe or complex it may be seen as, whatever experience you have, you are allowed to respond to it your own way and live in the way that is comfortable for you!
Here is a collection of psych abolition resources!
